The 22 year old Aussie took down the Gabriel Medina to win the Pro in Portugal. His surfing was on point. He credits traveling solo and focusing on the event to his success. This guy absolutely rips and I hope this is a preview to whats to come. 

Ron Preyer ` If You Don`t Want My Love

I have been listening so a lot of Soul lately and came across this beautiful track. Ron Preyer was a part of The Young Hearts. A vocal group from Los Angeles in the early 1960's. I love when you can find a recording from vinyl and the crackles from the record shine through. This is a good saturday morning track to start the day off right. I made this last week. Honey and paprika glazed grilled pork chop. Spicy green beans and quinoa 

 

Summer time means acai bowls. Got to Rum Jungle and get one of POPS. He makes the best!

Pork Carnitas with eggs. This came from Park Chow in the Sunset part of San Francisco.

Vegan quesadillas. I would call them tacos. Not sure how they turn cashews into cheese but it tastes amazing. This is a dinner I had at Gracias Mama in San Fran. I was pretty loose by the time we ate but for vegan food was amazing. $21 bottles of Malbec and good company made for an amazing evening.

Vegan Tomato Bisque. Still don't know how they made a crem fresh like drizzle for the soup. Vegan food is actually pretty good when carefully prepared. Dinner for 5 with 2 bottles of wine was $100. Quite a deal. I did want some meat first thing the next day though.
